POLICE in Scarborough are hunting two women in connection with the theft of a printer from a supermarket in the town.

The two suspects entered Tesco, in Westwood, around 10.30pm on Wednesday, May 2 and took a Canon Pixma printer from the shelf.

They then left the store without paying for the £40 item.

PC Steve Normandale, from Scarborough Police, said: “The images we have obtained of the suspects are very clear and I am confident someone will recognise the women involved and tell us who they are.

“I would also appeal to anyone who has been offered a printer for sale recently to get in touch as you could have information with can help the investigation.”

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option two – and ask for PC Steve Normandale or Scarborough Police.
