Police seek help to find bench

Police in Scarborough investigating the theft of a garden bench are appealing for the public’s help.

It was stolen from the garden of a house on Garfield Road, between 8.30am and 1.30pm on Tuesday, October 29.

The bench which is brown and large enough to seat four people, is made from compressed plastic and rubber, is metal coated.

PC David Twyford, of Scarborough Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “If you can identify the people who stole this bench or know where it is now, I ask that you contact that police straight away.”
