A SCARBOROUGH removal company owner has been driven to despair after vandals slashed his van tyres, causing havoc with his business.

Richard Nassau, who runs A2B Removals, was left outraged after his two vehicles were targeted in The Garlands area of South Cliff.

One van had two tyres punctured with the second hit by another slashed tyre in the attack which took place between the evening of Saturday, May 21 and 7am on Tuesday, May 24.

Mr Nassau has now put forward a £500 reward to help bring the culprits to justice and said the damage had affected business.

He added: “When you go to work at 7am you expect to be on your first job an hour later so to be missing that target meant we were upsetting out first customer and we couldn’t get to a job because of the damage.

“Whoever has done this has done so for a reason.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the damage should contact Scarborough Police on 0845 6060 247, quoting reference number NYP250520110244.
