Police are investigating a second allegation made against disgraced entertainer Sir Jimmy Savile over an offence in the Scarborough area.
North Yorkshire Police yesterday received a further report of a historic sexual offence linked to the Jimmy Savile enquiry.
The offence involving a teenage girl is alleged to have occurred in Scarborough in the late-1960s.
The alleged victim is from the Durham area.
This the second report the force has received in connection with the enquiry.
It has been referred to the Metropolitan Police Service.
