Scarborough police issue CCTV appeal after theft of wallet and £500 of Nectar Points

This is the man police want to trace as part of the ongoing investigation into the theft of a wallet and Nectar points.

It was reported on April 14 when the victim returned home to find that his wallet was missing.

On later checking his Nectar card balance, he found that all of his points totalling £500 had been used at the Sainsbury’s store on Falsgrave Road, Scarborough.

Officers today issued a CCTV image of the man they would like to trace

He is described as white, approximately 6ft and slim, with short black hair.

At the time he was wearing a dark coloured hooded top that was pulled up over his head, thick black framed glasses, a dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with white writing down the leg and black Nike trainers.

PC Liam Cromack, from Scarborough Police, said: “The victim and his family had been saving these points for a long period of time and to find out that the entire balance has now been lost has caused some upset.

"I would urge anybody with information to contact me in an effort to locate those responsible.”
