Suspects hunted for local pub assault

SCARBOROUGH police have released an image of woman they would like to speak to in connection with an assault at a local pub.

The suspect is alleged to have been part of a group of three women who assaulted another woman in Indigo Alley on Wednesday September 14.

The victim, a 25-year-old local woman, sustained a swollen left eye, scratches to her neck and legs and soreness to her right cheek when she was attacked in the pub’s toilets at around 9pm.

Police inquiries have identified one of the suspects from CCTV footage and are appealing to the public to help identify her.

The suspects have been described as woman one: aged around 20, chubby with blond hair and dark roots; woman two: aged in her mid-20s, tanned, fairly chubby and hair tied up; woman three: aged in her 30s, with short bleached blond hair.
