UPDATED: Man in hospital following alleged assault
A man is in hospital following an alleged assault in the early hours of this morning.
Four police vans were called to the property in Falsgrave Road.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of an assault at a property on West Park Terrace at around 5.49am today.
"A man has been taken to hospital, officers remain at the scene of the incident at this time."
