A SCARBOROUGH woman has appeared before magistrates in relation to drugs offences.

Jamie Johnson, 33, of Chatsworth Gardens, appeared in court charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply.

She was found with 15.691 grams of the drug in her possession in Scarborough on April 5 2010.

Following an adjournment the defendant appeared at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Her solicitor, Marcus Topham, asked for a further two-week adjournment to look at new documents regarding the case.

This was granted by magistrates.

Johnson is next scheduled to reappear at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court for committal proceedings on January 27.
