A Scarborough couple returned to their honeymoon hotel for a special family gathering to celebrate their Diamond Wedding.
Muriel and Frank Welburn, both 85, stayed at Raven Hall Hotel during their honeymoon in Scarborough 60 years ago.
To celebrate the milestone anniversary last week they gathered at the hotel with friends and family for a special meal.
The couple met during a village dance when they were both working at RAF Binbrook and were married in Hatfield, near Doncaster.
They came to live in Scarborough in 1962 when Mr Welburn got a job at Fylingdales.
The couple went on to have a large family, with seven children. They now have more than 20 grandchildren and are also great grandparents.
They were delighted to receive more than 50 cards for their Diamond Wedding, including a special one from the Queen.
