STUDENTS from Yorkshire Coast College in Scarborough celebrated in style with an end-of-year prom at Boleyn’s nightclub.
The event was held for students who study within the Foundation Learning Department and their ages ranged from 16 to 32.
Around 30 people attended the prom, with some dressing in gowns and tiaras.
Eight students even shared a limousine to ensure they arrived in style.
The event featured a DJ playing chart and dance music and awards were given out for best dance moves, best accessory and best hairstyle.
Prize winners were presented with a certificate and a £10 gift voucher.
Lorraine Forbes, foundation learning administrator, said: “The event was absolutely fantastic. There was such a good atmosphere and everyone was happy and got on really well.
“There was one student who couldn’t make it to her prom last year, so she was able to come to this one and not miss out.
“We’ve been doing this for five or six years now. We’re very grateful to Boleyn’s.”
