STUDENTS from a Scarborough college are guaranteed to leave guests shaken and stirred during a special James Bond themed fundraiser this week.

The BTEC Travel and Tourism students from Yorkshire Coast College are holding an evening paying homage to the famous spy in the Grand Hotel, in St Nicholas Cliff, on Thursday, May 12.

The hotel will be transformed into a Casino Royale for the night with gaming tables kindly donated by Scarborough’s new E-Casino evoking the essence of Ian Fleming’s fictional character.

Raising money for Scarborough Hospital’s children’s ward, the evening will run between 7.30pm and 11pm in the hotel’s Palm Court ballroom.

Guests will be given a licence to thrill thanks to a feast of entertainment including casino tables and lessons on how to play various games like the secret agent.

The event is strictly black tie dress and tickets are £10 each.
