SCARBOROUGH couple Joanne Fletcher and Steven Buckley have won A Bafta for their programme about mummifying a taxi driver.

Mummifying Alan: Egypt’s Last Secret scooped the prize for best factual one-off programme.

It is the second award Eygptologist Dr Fletcher and chemical archaeologist Dr Buckley have won. Earlier this year the duo picked up a Royal Society Television prize for the same programme.

It beat British Masters, Frozen Planet and Masters of the Universe to the Bafta.
