Scarborough college has come 51st in the country for A-Level results according to the new school league tables published today.
Scarborough college has been ranked as the 51st best school in the country for results in A-Levels and International Baccalaureate qualifications according to league tables published on Wednesday.
The independent college in Filey Road was also the second highest performing within the local authority area with an average point score per pupil of 1099.4. The college offers the baccalaureate rather than A-Levels.
Scalby School was the best performing local school at GCSE level, it was placed 27th in the North Yorkshire area with 65 per cent of its 184 pupils achieving five or more A* to C grades, including English and Maths.
