A NURSERY at Scarborough Hospital has been rated as ‘Good’ in its first Ofsted inspection.
Kinder Place took over nursery provision last November, under the leadership of former Children’s Place nursery manager, Nichole Swithenbank.
Now director of Kinder Place, she said: “As this is our first inspection as Kinder Place we are very pleased and I am very proud of the team. The Ofsted inspector said there were many instances of outstanding practice.
“Over the coming months we have a lot planned to develop our outdoor area and enhance our overall provision.”
James Hayward, director of facilities, added: “I am delighted the crèche provider has done so well. The Trust will continue to work with Kinder Place to ensure the service is of a high standard and reflects the needs of the children.”
