Would-be students get a look at university life

HUNDREDS of prospective students visited the University of Hull Scarborough Campus to experience a flavour of higher education.

The open day, held on Saturday, attracted people from across the country.

Visitors were able to access a wide range of information about the courses on offer at the university from undergraduate and post-graduate opportunities to part-time courses and short courses.

Academics from each department were also on hand throughout the day to offer their personal insights into the courses they teach.

Those attending were also given the chance to explore the campus buildings and halls of residence to see exactly where they could live and learn if they decided to apply.

Information about finance was also made available to break down any potential myths or barriers about tuition fees and students loans.
