EASTER is on the horizon, but in anticipation of all those chocolate eggs, children participated in an extra bout of sporting activities before indulging in their tasty reward.
Eagle eyed youngsters from Seamer pre-school were on the lookout for the sweet treat as part of an annual egg hunt.
Supervisor Ginny Wilkinson said: “It’s an immensely popular outing every year and a memorable experience for them.
The children visited the Seamer Sports Association Field where they had to find their names and were rewarded with eggs from the Easter Bunny, and then they had fun and games on the field with lots of physical activities.
“The older children enjoyed a long walk through the village before taking part in various exercises and games.
“We also held a raffle which the parents supported, and we’ll be putting the money towards new waterproofs for the children’s beach schools.”
Seamer Pre-School wishes to thank Proudfoots for donating the Easter eggs.
