Eleven acts set to play Tapstock

ELEVEN acts on two stages over three days – that’s the Tapstock beerfest at the Tap and Spile in Falsgrave, Scarborough, this week.

Performers will include Max Kynman, 15, whose dad Paul runs the Tap’s open-mic night on Tuesdays.

Sharing the bill are Ishka, who formed to play at the open-mic nights; and Paul Tilley and Tom Townsend, who usually play at the Tap every Wednesday evening.

Landlord Mick Mancrief is running a raffle all this week in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, and says the beer festival will feature 24 beers.

On the bill tomorrow are Railroad Hobos (7pm), Alastair James (8.30pm) and Best Served Cold (9.30pm).

Performing on Saturday are Ishka (7pm), Max Kynman (8.30pm) and the Superjets (9.30pm).

Sharing Sunday’s bill are the Shamrockers (1.30pm), Tom Davenport (3.30pm), Tilley & Townsend (4pm), Jesse Hutchinson (7.30pm) and local trio Snatch (9pm).

Mr Mancrieff says he hopes that if the event is successful he will stage it every year in aid of a worthy cause such as the hospice.
