The annual St Catherine’s Hospice Santa Dash is back and open for entries!

The fun-filled festive fundraiser will take place on Sunday December 10 at noon and will see scores of Santas create a spectacle along Scarborough’s North Bay.

Entrants can choose either a 5K or 10K option to tackle while dressed in a red Santa suit.

The 5K route is from the Sea Life Centre to Hairy Bob’s Skate Park and back, the 10K is the same route but twice.

This year Saint Catherine’s have added a Children’s Run which stretches 2K along the seafront for any keen “Santas in Training”.

Parents, grandparents, families and friends can all join the mini Santas in the Children’s Run.

Rhiannon Hunt, event organiser said: “We are very excited to see what this year brings. It promises to be a fantastic day full of festive family fun.

“It is always such a spectacular sight to see hundreds of Santas running along Scarborough seafront!”

All Santas will be given free entry to the Sea Life Centre after the event where there will be a mince pie on offer for every runner.

Friends and families are offered half price entry to the Sea Life Centre after the event.

Adult tickets cost £10 and child tickets £5. The ticket price includes a free Santa Suit.
