Fashion and textile designer Ann Louise Roswald will be the guest speaker at this year’s St Catherine’s Hospice Ladies’ Lunch.
The event will be held at the Crown Spa Hotel on Wednesday November 13.
A welcome drink will be served at noon followed by a two-course lunch with coffee and mints. As well as this, the £30 ticket includes a donation to the hospice.
Local designer Ann Louise graduated with a first class honours degree in Fashion with Printed Textiles and started her own label which debuted in Liberty’s in 1998.
Since then her designs have become internationally recognised with her collections showing in London, Paris and New York.
Ann Louise and her family have now returned to live near Whitby, close to her Scarborough roots, where she designs clogs, textiles and surfboards alongside her beautiful clothing.
Hospice fundraiser Jane Stockdale said: “As well as our guest speaker there will be a fashion show by Moments of Huntriss Row and Get Ahead Hats showing the latest winter fashions and accessories, a stall displaying gifts and bouquets by Hearts and Flowers and Christmas cards and gifts from Saint Catherine’s own ‘in house’ shop.”
All welcome. For further details please contact Jane at Saint Catherine’s Hospice fundraising department on (01723) 378406.
