A FASHION show in aid of Ellie’s Fund is being held by 2nd Scarborough Rangers.
The event will take place on Tuesday at Westborough Methodist Church starting at 7pm.
Ellie’s Fund was set up in memory of Scarborough teenager Ellie Othick-Bowmaker who died aged 14 after battling two brain tumours.
A spokeswoman from the group said: “The Rangers are doing a fashion show with various costumes including recycled costumes that they have made. We are also showing current and old Guide uniforms.
“The girls are aged 14-18, some of them knew Ellie from school so are passionate about the charity and wanted to support it. The rangers have each taken a role to be in charge of such as marketing, costumes and music.
“We hope to have a fun evening and raise some money for a great cause.”
Admission to the event costs £2 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.
All proceeds will be split 50/50 between Ellie’s Fund and 2nd Scarborough Rangers.
Ellie’s Fund aims to help local youngsters who are going through cancer treatment.
