FUN and fashion will hit the catwalk during a Samaritans fundraising event on Tuesday.

The event will take place at Samaritan House in Trafalgar Street West and starts at 7pm.

The show will feature clothing and accessories from the Samaritans’ charity shop in Hanover Road.

Shop assistant Marie Germeney said: “We’ve got models of all ages and all the clothing will be for sale.

“The show will include smart outfits, more casual items for a shopping trip for example, along with cocktail and evening wear.”

She added that there will also be bridal wear and accessories on show.

Marie said: “Rehearsals have been going well and tickets have sold out – we could have sold even more.

“We’re all looking forward to it and hoping it will be a big success.

“It it is we’ll look at getting a bigger venue for next year.”

New volunteers and donations of clothing and bric a brac are always welcome.
