FUNDRAISERS at St Catherine’s Hospice are getting into the Christmas spirit ahead of their annual Christmas Fair later this month.

It will be held between 10am and 1pm on Saturday, November 19, at the hospice in Throxenby Lane.

Penny Marshall, one of the charity’s fund-raisers, said the event will feature a plethora of features.

She said: “There will be the usual variety of quality independent stalls for visitors to browse through for original gifts or treats for Christmas.

“The shop at the hospice is fully stocked with seasonal gifts and the Falsgrave Road hospice shop will have a selection of their donated goods on sale.”

Entry costs just £1.50 and includes a hot drink and mince pie.

Penny added: “Staff from Saint Catherine’s Hospice would like to thank both Cooplands and Queen Margaret’s Nursing Home for kindly donating the mince pies for this event.”
