Crowds have been out in force enjoying a host of attractions at the 118th annual Burniston Show.
The agricultural show features a huge selection of competition classes for livestock, fruit, vegetables, flowers, handicrafts and much more.
Handicrafts secretary Kate Harland said: “In this particular section, the number of entries is up and the standard is up too.
“We’ve had some wonderful entries. I’ve been really impressed by the standard this year.”
Stand-out attractions in the tent included a display of sticks and a huge knitted wedding cake, plus delicious baked goods.
Enjoying a family day out were Hester and Ian Butterworth, of Scalby, with daughters Olivia and Sacha, and gran Christina Hutton.
Mum Hester said: “The show is great - we come every year and compete with the ponies and in arts and crafts.”
Olivia, 14, was delighted to have won a competition for designing the front of this year’s show brochure.
The event attracts visitors from far and wide and is one of the season’s most popular shows.
