LOVING homes are being sought for a numbers of cats and kittens in Scarborough.

The furry felines are being cared for at Alma Vets and are all looking for new owners.

The kittens pictured above are seven weeks old and are brother and sister. Their mum is pictured bottom right.

They were found together in Staxton and the kittens were just a week old.

The ginger kitten (left) is a male who was found in Seamer and is “a bit clumsy, but gorgeous” according to staff.

Bottom left is pictured an older black kitten, who is a little more shy and was found at Cliff Bridge Terrace in Scarborough.

There are also a number of adult cats who need to find a new home.

Karen Hepples, veterinary nursing assistant, said: “We have some lovely kittens and cats at the moment.

“All people need to do is ring and arrange a home visit in the first instance.”

To find out more call Alma Vets on (01723) 360484 or the Scarborough RSPCA branch on (01723) 371935.

It costs £50 to adopt a kitten or cat, which includes neutering, vaccinations and a microchip, saving around £70 on the normal charge.

Alma Vets is also offering free rabbit health checks until the end of August. Just call to make an appointment.
