Futurist campaigners to host meeting on theatre's future

Campaigners will hold a meeting a head of Scarborough Borough Council's impending decision regarding the Futurist Theatre.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday November 2 at the YMCA Theatre at 7pm.

It has been called ahead of the Full Council meeting on Monday November 7 which could decided on the demolision of the theatre.

All councillors are being invited to attend this meeting, guest speakers relevant to Scarborough entertainment will contribute, but the main purpose will be to enable the local people to make very public their feelings on this decision by the council.
