FUN and fitness are on the cards at a Scarborough day centre following the donation of a Nintendo Wii games console.
Visitors to Orchard House in Scalby Road have been making the most of the new piece of equipment which was donated by the Cloughton Village Fund.
The money was raised following a concert at Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall by local musician Mark Gay.
Orchard House team leader Janet Cunningham said: “We have quite an interest in promoting health and gentle exercise is very important.
“We had read about how people with Parkinson’s could benefit from using the Wii for coordination and mobility.”
Mrs Cunningham added: “We’re extremely grateful to the Cloughton Village Fund for supporting us in this way.
“Everyone has been enjoying the games!”
