Gearing up for big 1980s celebration!

DISCO fever is set to hit Burniston in a special reunion!

Shoulder pads, leg warmers and big hair will all be on parade in a retro Burniston Disco on Saturday, May 12.

The night will allow people to relive the good old days and dance the night away to favourite songs and massive hits of the decade.

The disco is set to be held in Burniston Village Hall, with music spanning across the 1980s, including new romantic, rock, pop, punk and Ska.

As well as the music, there will be a fund raising raffle for Scarborough Lifeboat, a dance off competition and people are encouraged to really get into the spirit and don an outfit from the era.

The disco is licensed for alcohol, however, anyone attending will need to bring their own refreshments.

Crisps and snacks will be available to buy throughout the evening.

The disco is set to start at 7.30pm and anyone interested should contact Simon Muir on 07952 953326.
