A FABULOUS “fifties seaside” themed charity dinner is being held at a Scarborough hotel next month.
The annual Scarborough Museums Trust charity dinner will take place at Beiderbecke’s on Friday March 4.
The evening’s entertainment will start with a reception at Scarborough Art Gallery at 6.30pm followed by dinner at the hotel.
A spokesman for the event said: “The Museums Trust puts learning at the heart of everything it does and since we were formed in 2008, we have welcomed over 20,000 pupils into our venues, or taken our special brand of learning to them in their schools.
“Only a small percentage of those pupils are currently from secondary schools and proceeds from the Charity Dinner 2011 will go towards developing new education resources for older pupils.
“In supporting Scarborough Museums Trust you’re supporting their future at a time when it is really going to be needed.”
The event will feature a charity auction and raffle. Prizes include VIP tickets to the International Film Festival in Bradford, limited edition framed prints and private tennis lessons.
The dress code for the event is black tie or fifties fancy dress.
Tickets are still available and cost £45 per person. For more information or to order tickets call (01723) 384503 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
