Fire crews have rescued three girls from a sea defence wall in Scarborough after they became stranded.

Crews from Filey attended Marine Drive yesterday afternoon (April 10) at around 4.45pm where the girls had become stranded.

Luckily, firefighters managed to get the girls to safety.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "It is unclear how the girls became stranded, but all were uninjured."
