SAINT Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough is on the lookout for supporters who have a lot of bottle.
The hospice needs raffle and tombola prizes – especially bottles.
Fundraiser Jane Richardson said: “We know there will be many people out there who received extra or unwanted gifts of bottles of wine or spirits over Christmas.
“The hospice has a number of fundraising events coming up this year and the donation of any of those unwanted bottles for raffle and tombola prizes would be very welcome indeed.”
The biggest event in need of donations will be the summer ball on June 11, which always has a giant bottle tombola.
Jane said: “Every contribution helps us to raise funds for patient care.”
Anyone wishing to donate bottles can either leave them at the hospice reception in Throxenby Lane or call the fundraising department on (01723) 378406 to arrange their donation.
