Pupils at Gladstone Road Infant School have joined forces to let Scarborough know what they think about people littering in and around their school garden.

The youngsters have written letters about the problem in the hope that the public will put their rubbish in the bin.

The school garden, beside St Saviour’s Church, has recently been strewn with cans, crisp packets and takeaway cartons.

The youngsters have starred in their own video to get their message across: “Stop throwing litter in our garden!”
