Guide dog cash from Brownies

Members of the Cloughton Brownies have gained their Disability Awareness badge this term.

To earn this badge, the Brownies had to learn about different disabilities.

The group held a special bingo evening and all money raised went to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

Linda Davison, assistant leader, said: “The Brownies held an evening with some of the dogs and their trainers and presented them with a cheque for £150.

“The group did really well to gain the badge.”
