GUIDED walks are on offer at the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs.
They are tomorrow and next Friday, starting at the visitor centre at 1pm, and will last two hours.
“We will search the cliff-top fields for short-eared owls, kestrels, redwings, fieldfares and brown hares,” says community education officer Steve Race.
Walkers will scan the sea for divers, grebes, seals and porpoise.
When they get back to the visitor centre, walkers will be served a bowl of soup and a roll.
Places cost £3. To book, ring 01262 851179.
Visitors this Saturday and Sunday will be given mince pies, from 9.30am to 4pm.
Children will be able to see Father Christmas from 1-3pm and adults will be able to buy cards, calendars and gifts.
Parking and reserve entry will be free.
