PREGNANT women in Scarborough are being invited to take part in a series of Aquanatal Classes.
Women can join midwives for a session of gentle exercise at Scarborough’s indoor pool.
The classes are aimed at bringing a range of benefits to mothers to be, including decreased stress levels, increased body awareness and confidence, and increased circulation.
The exercises also aim to decrease minor ailments, improve posture and balance, maintain fitness and stamina for labour and birth and improve post natal recovery.
It has also been proven that exercising in water when pregnant will help improve sleep.
The classes are held every Wednesday from 10am during term time only.
