RELAXATION was the order of the day in a fundraising pamper event held at Burniston and Cloughton Village Hall.

Organised by church warden and Indian head massage specialist Christine Randall, local therapists joined forces to offer sample holistic beauty therapy sessions with donations going towards St Mary’s Church at Cloughton and Burniston.

Church fundraiser Michele Dent said: “The evening was a great success. Therapists gave up their time freely to come along and give taster sessions. Every therapists was fully booked up for the evening and everyone had positive responses.

“There were also a number of stalls offering a range of goods from cosmetics, health essentials and supplements, silk products, jewellery, olive oil and cupcakes.”

St Mary’s Church thanked therapists Deborah Hartley, Val Scholey, Sonja Wharton, Karen of Laura & Co and Di Wilson who gave up their time to provide massages, hair styling, and nail treatments.
