Owner Jackie Wilson explained: “My youngest daughter Poppy had been spending time with him, stroking him to get him used to people.

“She brought a ball into his pen and he just started dribbling it around.”

She added: “His mum Beauty was pregnant when we got her, so we didn’t know when the baby was due.

“We just went outside one day and there he was, up on his feet.”

The star attraction is already proving very popular with visitors the to farm.

Jackie said: “Buddy’s absolutely adorable.

“He’s cheeky, playful and very inquisitive.

“He’s not scared when you go into the pen – he just comes straight over to you.”

His sister, Anna, is also due to give birth any day now.
