SCARBOROUGH’S MP Robert Goodwill paid a visit to Scarborough Homeless Support Services in Cross Street.
He met with manager Judith Pullen to find out about how the charity helps people in the Scarborough area.
The organisation provides information, advice, guidance and support for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Preventing homelessness by helping people to maintain and sustain their tenancies is also a top priority.
Mr Goodwill said: “They are the safety net – an emergency service for people who are homeless. I was impressed by the dedication and commitment they show in helping people.”
He also found out about how the charity works with Scarborough Council and Yorkshire Coast Homes.
