Hill challenge in Janet’s memory

A TEAM of Scarborough fundraisers are scaling new heights in a bid to raise money for two local charities.

The group of seven walkers are taking part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of the Macmillan Unit at Scarborough Hospital and St Catherine’s Hospice.

The team is made up of James King, Lee Pickup, Jonny King, Trevor Daniel, Paul Bridgwood, Matt Roberts and Rich Southall, who are being helped by a support team made up of Keith Pickup, Richard King and Craig King.Each of the team are doing the challenge in memory of Janet Pickup who died last October from cancer.

James King, Janet’s son-in-law said: “The Macmillan Unit and St Catherine’s Hospice are very close to our families hearts.

“We are all really looking forward to the challenge.
