Horse tack snatched during two North Yorkshire burglaries

Police are appealing for information after horse tack was stolen during two overnight burglaries in North Yorkshire.

The thefts occurred in Flixton between last Friday and Saturday, with a large quantity of tack taken.

Stolen items include a navy Gatehouse Hickstead velvet hat, a velvet Charles Owen H2000 hat, blue hat bag, a diamante head collar, a 15-inch pony saddle, a 16-inch pony saddle, horse clippers, a Jeffries Pelham English leather bridle with plaited browband, bolt croppers and gardening tools.

In particular ,officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw a vehicle in suspicious circumstances or any other unusual activity in the area to contact them with information.
