MACMILLAN Cancer Support is asking people from Scarborough to put on their walking boots and take to the hills to raise much needed funds for people living with cancer.
The charity is asking people to take part in the challenging Yorkshire Three Peaks event on Saturday July 9.
Fundraising manager Sally Millington said: “This is a fantastic event across some of the most breathtaking scenery right on our doorstep. By taking part, you will help us to raise the money that we need to be able to offer our services.
“It’s incredible to think that this is Macmillan’s 100th year of helping people affected by cancer, and it’s even more incredible when you think that we rely on our supporters for 97 per cent of our income.
“Every single penny raised really does make a big difference.”
Places are limited so if you think you have got what it takes please register now.
