On day two of Mark Snow’s protest in the beech tree in Irton, the Evening News speaks to his father, Peter Snow and a fellow protestor, Dave Parker about how he is doing.
Peter said: “I had no idea he was going to do it, I just got a lot of phone calls so I popped down to see him. At first I was worried about the health and safety but when I did see him I was comforted by all his friends here.
“My son is a very strong-willed, considerate man who loves nature. On his holiday he paddled from the river here to Selby in a Canadian canoe and if he has any free time he’s in the woods camping.”
