Members of Osgodby Ladies Club organised the sale of new and used clothes at the village community centre has part of the drive for funds for their chosen charity.

The cash from the sale brings the total raised for Help For Heroes this year to £450.

“Each year we choose a different charity with a local flavour.

“Last year we raised money for the RNLI,” said club organiser Moira Audsley.

Members will be presenting a cheque to a representative from Help For Heroes at their first meeting of the new season on Wednesday September 7 at 7.30pm.

Osgodby Ladies Club, which has between 25 and 30 members, meets on the first Wednesday of each month – except August – at the community centre.
