Details of veterans trip to Korea.

On behalf of the North England branch of the British Korean Veterans I would be most grateful if the following message could be placed in your columns, many thanks for all your support in the past.

The revisit to Korea for bereaved families who lost loved ones in the Korean War will take place from November 7-13. The first named person is sponsored 50% with flight and all costs in Korea (total £375 of trip), anyone accompanying will be sponsored 30% (total cost of trip £525).

Anyone who may be interested in the revisit please contact me, Ken Keld (coordinator), for full details.

Those applying by letter please enclose a stamped addressed envelope as this is all done on a voluntary basis.

I am still seeking survivors of the Korean War. Those who served between June 1950 and July 1953 are eligible for the Ambassador of Korea Peace Medal, you can also go on a 50% sponsored revisit.

I can be contacted at kenkeld@gmail.com or 01723 585912 or 2 Penton Road, Cayton, Scarborough YO11 3TQ.
