Spa wall plan is confusing

RE: SPA Wall.

Residents of the town will have been rightly angered by the desecration, with paint, of the North Bay statue and the borough council are to be commended for carrying out remedial work so promptly.

However the people of Scarborough should be aware of the other much more serious desecration that is being considered in the South Bay.

I refer, of course, to the proposed protection work on the Spa wall. Your paper has already printed an artist’s impression of the proposed work and how anybody can support it being carried out after seeing these pictures seems to me to be totally incomprehensible.

When can we expect our council to deal with these vital matters in an intelligent and professional manner?
