Among the scattering of flowers and messages still remaining on the unmarked grave of disgraced entertainer Sir Jimmy Savile lies a new offering - some women’s underwear.

A spotted pink bra and black knickers were left on top of Savile’s burial plot in Woodlands Cemetery this afternoon.

It’s unknown as to who left the underwear at the site, although two males were spotted near the grave moments before the find was reported.

They subsequently left the graveyard in a black Alfa Romeo.

Scarborough Council was unwilling to comment.
