Tony Viney, one of the organisers, said: “We raised in the region of £7,000 and it was the biggest one we’ve ever done. People are very supportive - it’s a very pro-forces town and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

The evening event took place at the Spa and cheques were given out during a presentation at the Town Hall.
