Striker Billy Logan and Craig Nelthorpe have committed to Scarborough Athletic for next season.

Logan returned to Boro towards the end of the campaign after a successful spell with Pickering Town, while winger Nelthorpe had been a regular throughout the season.

Boro boss Steve Kittrick is still in talks with the attacking trio of Jacob Hazel, Benny Igiehon and Cameron Murray as he bids to boost his squad further.

He said: “Nelly will be back next season and Billy is coming down in pre-season as well.

“I am still talking to Benny, Jake and Cameron because we want to get things sorted over the next week or so before we get back to training.”

Boro have also confirmed a pre-season outing against former Athletic player Jamie Waltham’s East Yorkshire Carnegie and Kittrick is aiming to conclude talks over one last preparatory clash.

The East Yorkshire Carnegie game will take place at their Dene Park base on July 11 in Boro's first pre-season match.

Boro are also looking for a tester for August 5.

Kittrick added; “We’ll be kicking off our pre-season with a game at East Riding Carnegie and we are also looking to sort out another testing fixture for our last game before the season starts.”
