Santa Claus made an early visit to Scarborough this week to make sure that his sleigh load of home goods would be on sale in Scarborough’s newest store in time for Christmas.

Yorkshire Coast Homes, in partnership with Hartlepool Credit Union, has opened the brand new Futurehome store on the corner of Northway and Victoria Road to offer a wide range of furniture, electrical items and kitchen appliances at competitive prices.

Shaun Tymon, Yorkshire Coast Homes chief executive, said, “We are very happy to open Futurehome in Scarborough as an accessible and cost effective alternative to some of the more expensive options that are available in the high street.

“Together with Hartlepool Credit Union we are providing not just a good selection of high quality and affordable home goods, but the additional option of a credit payment scheme that is both ethical and economical.”
