PUPILS and staff from a Scarborough school will soon be saying Thank You for the Music after organising an ABBA inspired performance.

The youngsters from Seamer and Irton Primary School are brushing up on their dance moves and singing voices for their Mam I’m Ere extravaganza, which will celebrate the big hits of the famous Swedish band.

The three night summer show, which starts on Monday, will feature members of the school’s chamber choir as well as teachers and even some parents.

Featuring hits such as Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Super Trouper and The Winner Takes it All, the show will be set in the 1970s at the school disco with DJ Dave Marshall providing the tunes.

Professional musicians Dave Clegg, Bob Scott and Tony Turner will also be playing and for more information contact the school on (01723) 863489.
