Man airlifted to hospital after tractor crash near Helmsley

A 67-year-old man suffered a broken pelvis when he was thrown from a tractor near Helmsley on Thursday.

The man, understood to be on a coast to coast tractor ride, was injured when the tractor rolled down an embankment on the bridleway through Cow House Bank Farm at around 1.45pm.

He was airlifted to James Cook Hospital for treatment.
